I want one BAD! So damn hard to find even 20 years old for under $500 and beat to ****. I work in a college town littered with these and it seems the kids get new ruckus or chink knock off and nobody rocks old school scoots

Yea all the ones local to me are overprice china knockoffs. Ive been trying to find another one. A friend just gave up looking and bout an $1100 Vino.
 
Yeah I find used 2500mi Ruckus' for 2 grand and new they are 2650. Dealer will not budge on new prices. Say they sell em like mad.... apparently nobody ever sells em as I only see a few a year.

A ruckus is really what I want, but I am not spending over a grand...preferably MUCH less. Labia pink could possibly be the funniest shade of pink I've ever heard of :wtflol:

I wish I had one of those badass Vino's that would run 55-65mph, but still a smaller bodied one. I don't like the huge Goldwing looking "scooters"

....but then again, I'd just rather buy another motorcycle if I was gonna spend money on a moped that would keep up with traffic. Soon as I get some shiat paid off, next purchase will be another bike. I miss it too much.
 
I am still holding out to find a college kids Ruckus that's been through 6 years of sitting outside, faded/cracked plastics and tires but only has 1500 miles on it for under a grand and it will become my new dual sport for gravel travels to more remote fishing spots to :drinkers: :fish:

Do you have a tag and insurance on that? Just curious.

Totally forgot about my moped still being a salvage ***le. Before you could tag it and insure it (unless you have a dealer's license), you'd have to fix all the broken lenses and whatnot on it and have a dealer get it inspected so it would have a rebuilt ***le.

All the more reason for you to never get your hopes up for buying mine molaugh


AND WE NEED A LIGHT ON PIC dammit.
 
Or is there some sort of 50cc and under law in Alabama like there are in some states not requiring tag and insurance? :dunno:

Heres the deal. I am 99.9% sure that you don't have to have a tag in Alabama for 50cc and under. However, that limits what roads you can ride on (has to be under 35mph or something like that). That was a deal breaker for me so I went to get a tag. They wouldn't issue me one because it was a 50cc. Left and came back 30 minutes later and told them it was a 60cc. Less than $20 later and I had a motorcycle tag for it.

Ill get a pic of the light on in a few days when I actually wire it up.
 
well I love my 86 honda elite 150d. it will do 60 mph, has tons of power to take cars off the line..unlike some small cc engines you feel like you are holding up traffic when you ride.. This can get up and get out of the way if need be... I added the rear luggage rack box which I got off amazon. I also found the original windshield and crash bars for it which I still have to put on.. it also have a stock kenwood radio which is a hard to find option (600 bucks on ebay).. Still love the heck out of it and getting 75 mpg is not bad either..
I went to the store on it and 2 people wanted to buy it from me..lol

I'd love to find an Elite or Helix 150-250. I don't like the maxi scoots but those are so ugly they are cool to me.
