I think it's about time to consolidate some of my vehicles and sale my tow rig.

1990 Chevy 3500, 4wd, 4 door. $5,200 B'ham, AL

The good:
-TBI 454 big block
- Dana 60 front 4.11 gears
- Dana 70 rear 4.11 gears
- 4 door
- 4 speed w/ granny low
- 205 transfer case
- dual gas tanks
- goose neck hitch
- towing package
- 3" body lift
- 2" front springs
- 36" TSL SX's (good tread) & a spare
- custom front bumper and large Ramsey PTO winch (no cable on it)

The bad:
A/C don't work ( clutch on compressor locked up )
Power steering pumps leaks some
never got around to buying a PTO to run the winch

I have used this truck to pull my dual axle, dual wheel 30' goose neck and my cab truck many times. It pulls good and i have never had any problems out of it.
I have had this truck several years, but when I bought it, it had been sitting for a long time. So, when i got it, I put in two new fuel pumps, rebuilt the throttle body, and put the lift on it.

I knew i forgot some stuff,

I bought it from a company where some of my friends work. They put up power poles and that kind of stuff. The odometer shows some where around 23,000 to 24,000 (I cant remember, but i will check) , although it just quit working about a month ago. About half of the people I know there said that the truck was just too big (long) to use in the gas fields, so they only used it to pull power poles sometimes. Then they just quit using it and it sat for several years. So they say that those are original miles.

The other half of the people I know there said that they think the odometer has rolled over and it has 123,000.

sorry for the long answer, but i dont really know. either 23,000 or 123,000. I know that's alot of difference but I dont think there is anyway to check if the odometer has ever rolled.
