1995 4runner build(back yard fab)

This is my 95 4runner that im building..i bought this thing for 300 dollars in january and been slowly working on it since..ive been wanting to have a ride with 4 doors since i have two kids and my wife..i have a toyota f-toy that i been using for the past 3 years and its been fun..It was my first build and i learned alot with it and their is alot of things i want to do different with it..so for this build im tearing my f-toy down and transfering everything into this 4runner and next year im getting back on my buggy..i hope some of ya have interest in a old toyota build ill try my best with pics and progress of the build

A few weeks after i got it i had the frame stripped down and started on cutting the back off..ive always wanted to do this to a 4runner and it turned out pretty good

Most of the people ibe seen do this and they dont cut the bed down so i decided to cut it down even with the tailgate

The back window is removable i bought 2 5/16 knobs from lowes and welded 2 nuts on the inside

Next i started on the axles i dont have any pics of me doing the work..the front axle is trussed has trunion bearing eliminators,bobby long 30splines,high steer with a welded 4.10 diff..front springs are all pro 6in with low pro front hanger..rear axle is using f150 springs..i still need to get the rear set rite i just have the shackle hangers tacked

Fast foward some more this is what it looks like trying to get the truck level in the dirt to get the 4.3 set..got the motor in fabbed up some mounts using barnes 4wd sleeve and bushing..next i built.my crossmember for the dual cases and th350

Bought a set of milestar patagonias 38x13.50r17 from walmart 800 bucks and was sitting on my porch in 3 days ..not a bad deal

i like it.

I think I'd want bigger axles, but maybe with the time you put into the body work, you won't have it on the super hardcore trails.

This is with motor in..im cutting the fenders trying to keep it low as possible..and this is where im at with the build,plated the frame and working on mounting the steering box..i have alot of work to do..i have a brand new kit from affordable fuel injection to get installed also got a 4x4 inavations cage to install soon

Alot of body work knowing im going to go beat it all up lol..im not going crazy with a paint job i plan on trying some of that monstaliner..

Whats a good way to get this factory toyota throttle cable to hook up to the tbi?i got a idea but was wondering if anybody has a done it a different way

Either chop off a part of a Toyota throttle cam and make a clip adapter or use a Chevy throttle cable and adapt it to the Toyota pedal with a cable stop
