Sold/Expired 2007 chevy truck, needs motor

I have a 2007 Chevy ext cab classic 4x4 that I am selling for a friend. This was a work truck that he bought that wasnt running. It has the typical rusted rockers, etc... that these trucks are known for. It also had they typical rusted brake lines and fuel pump lines coming out of the pump. I put all new brake lines and fuel pump on it. When we tried to start it, the bottom end of the motor is rattling pretty bad, and had a crack in the oil pan. It probably has a broke rod, or something else. The motor will need pulled to fix, or just put a used motor in it. It is the 4.8 v8. those are fairly cheap used. The tires on it look new.
I don't have time to put a motor in it, so he wanted me to see if I could just sell it for him. Run a nada on the truck, the rough value on it is $6,000. He is asking $3500 for this one. Has clean clear title. Title says 152,000 miles, odometer showes 70k, don't have a clue whats up with that so I would assume it's got 152k on it. Can get more pics on request.
