2009 Buggy on 43†TSL’s

2009 custom tube buggy built right the first time with all new parts. Front axle is a Ford high pinion 60 with RCV axles and a Detroit locker. Rear is a 14 bolt with a Detroit â€" both housing 4.88 gears. 383 small block with mass flow EFI was dyno’d @ 480 H.P., 580 ft/lbs torque. Custom ColeWorx fuel cell and pump feed the fuel to it.
Trans is a TH400 with dipstick lock, blow proof bellhousing, and TCI converter, shifted by an Art Carr shifter. An Atlas II 3.8 transfer case feeds 1350 driveshaft and a 1410 rear.
Links are all aluminum, with 1.25" QA1 joints. Fox 14†triple-rate coilovers on all 4 corners. Beadlocks and 43†TSL’s only have 3 rides on them!
Chassis is 100% DOM, fully powder coated, with double frame rails for strength. By the numbers:
-117†wheelbase
-67†to the top of the cage
-55†at the widest point of the cage
-85†sidewall to sidewall
Also: Kirkey seats and Crow harnesses, quick release steering wheel on tilt column, 9.0 RC winch, Optima battery, KRC steering pump, PSC ram & orbital, all steel braided lines, CNC dual brake pedals for front digs, and more…
