Just found out the Teralow 4:1 case in my '98 XJ is fubar. Need a replacement. Local Jeep salvage place is out of their damn mind price wise.

Get one at pull a part! I've seen them literally laying on the ground under XJs at my pull a part. People just need a transmission and leave a whole good Tcase laying there.

May go that route. Will likely have to order an input shaft and swap it. I've never seen a 4 cyl XJ at the yards, only 4.0 and they are 23 spline

You can always swap the input out of your current case.

Cant do that with a Teralow. The input is part of the planetary and cant be separated. According to NAXJA
