Top speed 70 when empty.
Towing average 60 this truck would follow me when towing and loaded. I run 60 while towing. This truck would keep up unless we were in extreme hills ( ozarks Missouri or Tennessee)
Granted it would lose speed going up but pick up speed going down other side. I would say it averaged 60 fully loaded box and pulling.
You drive it through the mountains loaded and pulling a trailer, your going to get :flipper: from some truckers.
On the flip side it gets very good mileage. I've never checked it. However it would run with similar trucks that had 366 or 454's and would go twice as far between fill ups.

Thanks for the detailed reply. I've driven my fair share of Big Block and V10 UHauls so I figured speeds would be similar. Will pass this along to my buddy, but it's probably too big for him.
