anyone got any pics of there 2wd yota:cool: i picked up an 88 stnd cab short bed, and i want to lower it a couple inches and put on some 17in mustang wheels:D anyone have pics of there lowered 2wd

maybe some drop spindles forsale? :corn:

I know ya don't want to spend the cash, but bagging it is the way to go. You'd be surprised how reasonably priced it is these days. http://www.airbagit.com/Default.asp
In the rear you can use a lowered spring pack (or monoleaf) and frame notch to get the rear low. Then use the rear bags to lift it for when you haul something of need a taller ride height (it'll make the ride stiffer though.) This is the way I run my bagged F350. (I use full spring packs in the rear flipped under the axle and custom shackle hangers.) I like knowing that if something goes south with the system, I can still carry the load on the leaves.
If you decide to link the rear, just buy one of the link kits. You can buy them for your truck cheaper than you can build one. They're not as beefy as we're used to in the offroad world but they don't need to be.
