I have had the intake and valve covers off and it is clean. The engine rotated easily by had. I consider this a rebuildable core.

Do you know if this is an alloy block? They can be identified by a number 10 or 20 inside a circle cast into the block either on the side or under the timing cover. May have both 10 and 20. 1 or 2 piece rear main?

I haven't torn it down any further than just pulling the intake and valve covers. It coule be? Prob not being an 80's casting tho.

I have a core water pump I'll throw in the deal too.
