so.....thinkin' about swapping a 4.3 into the zuk....
and I'm pondering transmissions...

no automatics...
and I'd 'prefer' to NOT have a 'granny' 4 speed......this is much more of a daily driver than a wheeler....so....w/ that in mind...
what close-ish ratio 5 speeds are out there that go behind 4.3's, and are or can easily be mated to a pass. drop x-case...
I've heard some of the 'newer' s-10's and such have the NV 3500 or something (the NV 4500 little brother)....???....are they decent....can they be had for cheap??...what can you put behind them?..
how about 'adapting' to jeep stuff.....like the 'ax-15' (??)....I know people put 4.3's in their jeeps....do they keep their trannys, or swap them to something else too?...
end-game, I really wouldn't mind having a Toy x-case in it, as gearing options and availability seems pretty good for them, and this drive-train combo is NOT intended to ever turn into a real hard-core wheeler, so the non-front-dig-ability isn't a problem to me...
