Im looking for a set or the 42 Good year wrangler stickies . Are they known by any other name when trying to order from local Dealer . Or is There only certain places and limited supply of them .

Talked to Goodyear Racing Division today . They are completely out of the stickies . Its going to be 18-20 weeks be for they do another run of making them ..

Dang talk about a heck of a wait time!
This is from tire ignorance, why does it seem like tire producers don't make stickies very often/have a long wait time between runs? I understand less demand for them than passenger tires, but still curious.

The way i understood them they were out of the regular 42 MTRs also ..

There are many factors that determine this. They may be having trouble getting all the components to build the tire such as Rubber Compound and many other materials that are inside a tire. Its hard to explain but there are a ton of factors that play into it. Plus they probably already have a schedule for the year on when they are going to build certain tires and they can't vary from it.

Thanks for the info. I figured there were several things that factored into such a wait time.
