I am selling the tires and wheels off my purple buggy. I ran these tires about once a month for 2-3 years. These tires have done Creampuff in Harlan many times. Even in the rain it was easy. They have done Little Jagger and Can Opener in the rain too. Just about every trail in Harlan was done and most in the rain which is twice as difficult. They have done Pull Cable in Callientee several times and walked the waterfall like a gravel road. The aggressive cut really helped me and was part of the magic that buggy had. These tires and wheels are not pretty, but have never given any problems.
The tires are 42x15x15 TSL bias ply with half of the tread cut off in the Aetna cut style with screwed and tubed rims. The tires are screwed to the rims which is an old drag racing trick. An inner tube works as the inner part of the double beadlock making sure you don't lose air or push the tire off the screws. I think this is the best type of double bead lock out there. The inner tube really adds a lot of safety and when I got 44's for my new buggy I set them up the same way. I ran these at about 3psi and had great success with them. The wheels are 15x10 with 8x6.5 standard lug pattern with 4" of backspacing. I ran 1" wheel spacers so they would clear my Chevy Dana 60 calipers.
I need $900 out of them or will consider trades for other size tires. I don't need anything specifically, but if it helps you to make the deal then we can talk. I will not split up rims and tires.
