6.0 Question

Just fired up the LQ9 6.0 today. Dont have the exaust ran yet, but have the O2 sensors plugged in. Jims performance Hot tune an his harness.
Question is doesnt seem to to want to rev. It just idels an when you give it fuel it dont want to rev. Changed it from drive by wire to drive ny cable by changing to a new throttle body, which Jims Performance new before he did the tune
What can I look for? Any help would be greatly appreaciated. Thanks

You have to have a computer from a drive by cable they are different !!!

It is a different computer for a Drive by cable set up. Jims Performance told me the computer I had wouldnt work, so I got the correct one an sent it to him to flash. Its a 411 service number.

When I started mine for the first couple times it did the same thing but motor started to run better the more I ran it. After five or six times it was fine.

Fired it up again this evening, Runs like crap. I ran it just a min an it died. Went around touching the header tubes an the driver side was cold all 4 cylinders. Walked around to the passenger side an the front 2 cyl. were cold an the back 2 were hot. Any I dea what could be doing this? :dunno:

Will not crank back up. Thanks

Make sure all of the coil packs are plugged in. At first it sounded like a drive by wire that was in limp mode.

Have u called Jim? A buddy just got his back from Jim's and had some issues but is running fine now. Jim was very helpful in trying to get it lined out. Check fuel pressure must be right at 58to60psi even under a load. :****:

what codes are showing on the pcm? You do have a reader right? Otherwise you're going to be doing a ****load of guess work.

you really need to scan it...

buddy of mine had similar problems, had super nasty injectors from sitting- search youtube for how to clean fuel injectors, the carb cleaner and syringe method works awesome. the harness plugs for the coils sometimes go bad too..

I've had several ls motors do the saqme after sitting while the project was built. pulled all injectors and cleaned with brake clean, all was fine

Figured it out guys. My dumb butt, is embarrest to say what it was. Since you guys have helped me out I will tell you.
I have stainless fuel line for the pump line a return line. Yes at the fuel cell I had them backwards. :wtflol:

I pushed the port on the fuel rail to see if there wasnt any fuel. Nothing but air.
So I got to looking an they were crossed. Put them on the right nipple cycled the fuel pump a coupls times an BAM ran like a top. Shut her off an came in the house. Thanks Guys I really appreaciate your time.
