Rustic Green 77 FJ40 for sale or trade.
Bought this 40 in California and brought her home to GA this past Summer, only to eventually realize that she's just too clean to start cutting up to do the kind of wheeling I'm after.
Details include:
Odo = in the 70k range, I imagine its 170k.
Original paint and I-6 motor, 4 speed, compression good (145 to 155)
Stock axles, 4.11s, Aussie locker in the rear
mini truck power steering conversion
New rear bench seat, folds up for storage
Practically new Warn 8k winch
Practically new rebuilt seats
Raptor liner on the floor boards, tub floor
Brand new 6 to 1 headers
Just de-smogged
Brand new electronic ignition (Petronix)
New clutch master and slave
33'' Cooper Discos STT, 80%
Half hard doors
Half soft doors
Soft top has seen better days but it works, comes with full soft doors
No hard top
Comes with misc trail replacement stuff - fuel filter, plug wires, belts, etc.
Few drips overnight from the oil pan, rear passenger brake cylinders need replacing (will prolly do it over the holidays). I've been DD this rig the last few months, runs great.
This is not a spotless frame off resto FJ40, there are scratches and bruises from the trails here and there but, for the age, a clean and rust free turnkey FJ40 with moderate off road mods. Lots of fun to drive and capable.
Value is $10k and I am looking to trade up or down for another off road rig, preferably for another 40, a TJ or LJ, but I'm open to anything that gets it done.
