8" thinwall pipe?

I was wondering if anyone would know were to pick some 8" thinwall round pipe (4 feet) and 1/8th inch thick or so. Its for a shop fireplace im building.

*also local yards only carry sch40 in that size

Pipe to carry what? Whiteside salvage in Clearview has lots of oddball stuff.

Ive gone there, i need thinner then Sch40. This is for a double barrel stove. It will go through the top barrell for heat. Have a fan on the back side blowing through it.

So how thin? Like a piece of 16 gage stainless? Sounds like chimney liner materials- home depot stuff?
Maybe a HVAC supplier?

less that 1/4 inch thick, i would like to get 1/8th wall or so... I dont want sheet metal and I would like it solid, without the seam that normal stove pipe has. I will be welding it into the barrell

call fergesoun they can get stuff like that but you may have to get a 20 foot length

Get a shop to roll it for you from sheet.

Have a shop in mind. Is the average Joe capable of rolling his own and welding the seam? Also price wise, it is just a fireplace, so I am not trying to spend to much. I guess it looks like I will be leaning towards square or rectangle, but still having a hard time to find thinwall

just use a smaller grease barrel inside the other one. It takes two grease barrels cuz they are shorter than normal 55 gallon barrels. Gotta cut thema nd weld them to the same length and weld it in the center of the lager one. Thats How its done easy and cheap.

talked to a semi truck place. 6" is the biggest they carried. A couple shops are goin to call me this morning. I have debated using several sch40 1.5 pipe but I still have a 8" triple wall chimney. My stove is only 3 feet long, the main chamber is made of 3/8th and the top chamber is about 3/16ths. The reason I want thinwall pipe to go through the center barrell because I dont know how long it will take to heat the top barrel. I will get pics up when done. thanks for the replys.
Chop Shop, got any grease barrels layin around?
