Sold/Expired 87-91 Chevy crew cab, just need cab n ***le

Looking for a 87-91 crew cab CAB for a short crew project. All I really need is the cab n good ***le, but would take as much as I can afford.
Closer to northwest AL the better.

Been wanting to do one for several years, finally got the funds to try it. I had one with a carbed big block and sold it before I cut it down, but it was a converted 2wd to 4x4.

I'm going to swap the body to a suburban frame/running gear. Lot less work than chopping up a long beds frame, no building drive shafts, no tank relocation, just have to build one set of cab mounts.
 
Thanks, but its a little far, I'm in southern middle TN.

BUT definitely what I'm looking for except there asking a bit much for the parts. Lol
 
Saw one posted in the Nashville Craiglist when I searched under crawler but can't find it now...was a 4 door cab and frame, had some parts etc.
 
I'm holding out for a TBI cab so fuel injection is a bolt in deal and no cutting down a harness. But I may have to settle for an older one as most good late model bodies are running rigs I can't afford to buy just for the cab.

On the other hand I guess it would be a good time to learn how to strip down a factory TBI harness, one of the things I been meaning to do. Considering its old tech now days.
 
Yeah, I found it the other day also. Wish I could find a later model and a 4speed also, as the burban I bought the other day is a manual.
 
I know you are wanting a TBI cab, If you change your mind I have a 2wd '85 Crew Cab Dually for sale.

Boz, haven't seen you around the other board in a while, you still rockin that caddy powered K5?

And how much you asking for the 85? Is it auto or stick? I need a stick shift cab too.
 
Its an auto cab, I missed the stick part. My bad.

It has a set of direct bolt on 19.5"'s with new rubber. I want $2500 with them on it. $1500 with stock rims & junk tires.

I still have the K5, & yeah I quit regularly visiting the other board a couple years ago.

OK, thanks Boz, I have seen it listed on CL. Nice truck, Ill keep it in mind, the stick thing just came up it was not in my original wanted post. I bought a suburban that I'm going to pull the body off of to use as a short platform and its a 4speed. So that's narrowed my window down even more.

I have found one on here that "4doorcrazy" has, now I just have figure out a time to get to north Georgia to get it.
