ok I got a 95 jeep grand orvis edition V8 ( DD ) I was playing on a ditch bank and after I got to the top was going home and it started knocking and chirping like a rod was knocking
a guy told me his done the same thing and it was the flywheel looked at it and about halfway up the flywheel is rubbed clean like its been rubbing something
I just put the trans in about a week before this (new front pump) cause the guy that had it put another trans in it and the bolts on the top and the pass side
worked loose and kicked the trans side ways causing the torque converter to rub the converter bushing in the front pump causing the housing of the front pump to
weld to the bushing
Would that have caused the flywheel to weakin and cause this ?????
