XBJRA champ/ 555 and team Nasty codriver
97 4 door tahoe.
60/14, 4.56, detroit rear welded front. High steer, 1/4" covers, 35 spline outers, 78/79 gm lockouts broached to 35 spline so you don't have to deal with broken warn ****
front shaft is 1480 (60 axle ujoint good to 40*)/1350.
rear is 1350 cv/1350
vortec 350 midplated and front plated, dropped 4" to help the driveline
400 trans just redone, HD case, $600 in the build
205 twin sticked with new seals.
80ish% 40" boggers on 16.5x14" black Bart wheels.
Front is on 4" lift 52" chevy rears.
Rear is the stock springs packs that I perch dropped, put reverse shackles on and added another stock leaf and arched them.
The thing drives 75 mph no problem and wheels really well, he's just tired of breaking when he goes out (although now it was a 35 spline outer that let go last time, he doesn't let off when the front end pops up.)
I'd say it's been out all of 6 times, 4 of them in a flat muddy field flinging mud. It started with a 4l60, broke the ouput. 400 went in, broke the 241. Put the 205 in, broke the front axle. Should have most of the weak links out, this thing is ready to rock for someone, and still looks pretty damn good to drive around.
$6500, negotiable, or if the parts are better for someone, shoot an offer.
