Will the front axel shaft fit through the c on the housing? Just asking the question for a friend of mine. Thanks:beer:
 
Yes It will but their is a retainer/dust ring that is super tite fit... some time you have to use a pry bar to seperate the retainer/dust ring while the axle is still in the C to get it to come out...
 
That's actually the vacuum assist chamber inner seal for the autohubs...:)puke: for autohubs)...If the truck's been converted to manuals, just cap off that port on the knuckle, as it's useless at that point, or run a vacuum line up into the engine bay as a vent...
I use two prybars, one on top and bottom of the inner axle ujoint yoke, and pry against the inner C evenly to get the seal/axle assy to come come out without damaging it...
