Glad your both OK.

Noticed the TTCW sticker. We always stopped at least 4 times during the event to tighten the lug nuts. If not, you saw firsthand what happens. We only had it happen once and that was enough.

I passed by you guys coming home from duck hunting Sunday night. I saw a baseball hat about 20 yards from the Jeep and thought it didn't turn out too good. Thought there might be a chance you were on here. I am glad you guys are okay, just driving by the scene I thought for sure there was a fatality.

The Jeep hasn't come home yet, it is still at the towing company. We went back the next day and I got my hat back:awesomework: we also found our camera in the ditch at the scene, still did not see the tire though We rolled at the 85th street off ramp in Kirkland, just missed a guard rail thank god.

Trailer and tow rig is the way to go but this rig was built to drive to and from, it drove to Moab twice and back, we just should have gone farther when the wheel loosened earlier in the day. 20-20 hindsight. :mad:

It doesnt bother me that you drive your wheeler, heck I will and do sometimes.:awesomework:
I have even been known to drive my race jeep back and forth to the races, as well as to work some...:stirpot:

hey rick i was working up by your house and saw the jeep in the driveway..... WOW! at first look it's surprizing that any one could survive let alone walk away with out injuries. but when you look at the cage that explains it all, it did it's job beyond reasonble expectation.

and seeing this in person i'm glad that you and Kelly came away from this safe.

ps. the pictures do not show the extent of damage, that jeep is pretzeled, nothing is straight or unaffected by the roll.

Yeah I think it looks worse after they put the hood back down and washed it. The salvage yard where it was cleaned it and tried to make it look better but all it did was show all of the damage better. I am just going to part it out and use the parts on the scrambler. We are just now starting to feel good, aches and pains last a long time when you get older. :haha:
