Apart from the obvious don't do it and it's going to cost a lot, what advice would you give to a beginner? Best first mod, best vehicle, anything you can throw would probably help someone here.
Oh, love this and I think most people heated up for this won't even think about ittake it on some trails and get to know the rig in stock form before making a lot of changes.
Good point on the tools. I'm surprised how many people drive on paved roads without any tools. I'm not talking about a whole engine rebuild set, but at least the basics should be mandatoryEverybody knows it's light bars before lockers. Honestly though like Olecoot said, take it on some trails and get to know the vehicle. After a while you'll learn what you need like lockers, winch etc. And always carry spare parts and tools. Can't count how many people I've ran across without even a screwdriver much less a lug wrench and jack.
Even my wife insist on having at a minimum a socket set, screwdrivers, pliers and jumper cables.Good point on the tools. I'm surprised how many people drive on paved roads without any tools. I'm not talking about a whole engine rebuild set, but at least the basics should be mandatory
As it should be. Half of the people I know don't have anything and always call someoneEven my wife insist on having at a minimum a socket set, screwdrivers, pliers and jumper cables
