Needs some opinions. I have some 2" OD .25 wall DOM that I need to make a .25" cut top and bottom 6" in. Hope that makes sense. What would be the easiest way and be able to keep the top and bottom straight and even. I don't trust myself with an angle grinder or porta ban. I don't have access to a band saw but I'm thinking that would be the way to go.

The best way would be in a mill if it needs to be precise. Really depends on the purpose of the part your making.

You're putting slots in it to slide over a plate? Run it straight into a chop saw. You'll have to flip it a few times to get both sides equal length but it should work if the slots don't need to be aircraft precise

Just had a guy on fb offer to do it on a cnc machine for me for free so I guess fb is good for something. Thanks
