So I had a slow day at work today, no real work just inventory, paperwork and projects that I can't get to when I'm busy. One of my projects was to take the plastic bedliner out of my work truck and put in some carriers for picking up concrete cylinders we got a while ago. The bedliner came out with no issues, but then I realized that hard plastic on metal was almost as bad as plastic on plastic.

Oh snap! I've been saving our out of spec rubber pad caps because i knew I'd want to use them for something.

Hmm, don't really want to go to the store and buy glew/epoxy...!

Well, it looks sturdy anyway. :redneck:

Sweet! But now I'm almost out of rubber. :cheer:

Post up pics of your slow work day projects or hacks cobbled together with stuff around the house.

I dont have any pictures, but a while back at work, we were starting to get caught up, so my boss had me build 2 set of stairs/ steps out of scrap metal so we wouldn't have to keep climbing up on the frame rack (probably 2.5-3' high). It makes putting hoods and doors on WAY easier. It's hard to describe. I'll have to get a picture.
