Alternative to nv4500??

Broke another nv4500 in my 96 dodge dually..I'm pretty sure the input shaft broke this time. I've done some research and read up on swapping in an eaton fuller and just wondering if anybody on here has first hand experience with this swap. My truck having 4.10s leaves a little to be desired on the interstate so I'm hoping to swap in something with a little better OD in it...

Not sure, I'm assuming stock since this trans was pulled from a truck with a bad motor and put in place of my old trans (it stripped 1-3).. Far as power, I bought the truck from the shop foreman at mid south cummins in bham and he did a full rebuild. If memory serves correct, 350hp injectors? Tuned pump and trick turbo.

I had a newer dmax that had EFI live, deletes, etc and this 12v has considerable more power.
