I've damn near finished building this TJ, it's got a really nice flexy front suspension going on, except i can't release my pins or i'll snap off a brake line.

ANYONE KNOW WHAT if any brakelines will fit into the exsisting lines to lengthen them?

thx, once the front brakes are done, it's just gearing / lockers to complete!

*don't know how happy i'am to be almost done... whoo who! :cheer:

Add a short peice of hard line, Rubicon express calls it a "brake line extender kit".
Or figure the length you need and have some braided stainless ones made.

I recently heard that the braided stainless are not so hot becuase of the plastic hose in side the stainless line. The theory was that if you can find a rubber line from some other application that you would be able get one any where in a pinch. There was also some discussion about the plasitc lines being a little more brittle in very cold weather (-10 or below).

Just food for thought.
