leaving someone stranded without at least offering help is messed up damn near regardless of the situation. paving trails to suit your city boy mall crawler is disgusting. if a trail is gonna turn your ride into a raisin and your not cool with it find another trail! if you dont want the brush to scratch the paint on your:rb: wagon stick to the pavement! every time i see a clean ass jk,H2/3, fj cruiser, whatever on the trail i cant help but wonder :wtf: and its always the same bs stackin rocks, moving loggs,ect on trails that can more or less be run in 2wd by any real wheeler. sad thing is, iv met alot of good people in the woods but iv met alot more assholes

One thing I don't understand is why someone would buy a nice vehicle and want to go wheeling in it, but be scared to have it scratched or dented. I bought my wheeler rig that had a rattlecan paint job, rust, and dents all over with a somewhat dirty interior so I didn't have to worry about denting my precious DD vehicle that looks nice and doesn't have dents or rust, well it does, but its still CLEAN. You don't have to go wheeling at a place that destroys your rig, but if you choose to do so, then expect your rig to get some damage, but when it happens don't cry and ruin it for the rest of us.

The type of "wheelin" you guys do today is NOT the type of wheeling I grew up on. This new form is more of the "extreme" sports version of wheeling. exo-cages, monster tires, vertical wall climbing, etc etc.

I grew up in the back seat of a cj-5 with 31" tires and a winch. We ran everything, elbe, evans, the busywild just outside eatonville, naches, liberty, you name it.

Dads jeep was clean. it wasnt perfect, but it was clean. No major dents, scrapes, scratches or rust. Sure, you;d get the occasional shrub rash, or maybe rip the soft top, but you took your time, planned your route, and tried not to bash your **** in all day.

The stuff you guys do today is a sort of pedal to the metal, 1/4 mile dash thru the roughest **** you can find. Tree's are just there to keep you pointed in the right direction and protect bystanders.

I remember my dad's biggest complaint in the 80s was "those guys with the monster 35" tires digging all the trails down". Now its 40s and 50s!

that said.... you build your rig to the trail, not the other way around. If you want to run your pretty, perfect wheeler, then you better stick to Jeep Dealership courses on pavement.

WOW that sounds a lot like the fullsize axle rigs argument with the existing narrow "jeep" trails :haha:

Higher numbers means a higher chance they will do dumb **** that will get the off road community more negative press.

Look at every dip**** that crashes a modded car or a high speed crash, the press calls it "drag racing" or "street racing". The off road community needs to keep the negative press to a minimum. :awesomework:

Did a little researching on these blue waffles.

1. they developed on Meetup.org. ( should be enough said)

2. their albums say ( hardcore wheeling at walker) or something of that nature, and the only hardcore pic is flexing on a rock in the parking lot.

3. you have to pay 65.00 bucks to become a member and attend most the member events. To me that is :rb:er then Richard simmons.

I wouldn't leave them stranded, but damn I wouldn't want to break with one of them, judging their rigs, definitely a lack of mechanical experience. Everyone has to start somewhere, but a whole club full of ****s is probably not the greatest way.

ya sounds like 2 **** ups...
his group lost sight and left him or didn't keep track of him, and the over taking group left him on his own.

Our group was camping at Spillman and some of us got cold and wet so we all headed back to camp then the two ford escape guys wanted to tag along with the "jeep club" they put the lesser experienced guy in the middle so they could help/guide him. The more experienced guy held up the rear for a while. Thinking he was in good hands he left the middle guy with the jeepers(about 30 of them) and went back to camp. Then we didn't here from him until dark and broken. He had a good time up to that point. In the vid he is the blue escape(skip to around 11 minute)
