And Josh saw it sitting on the trailer in pieces yesterday when he came up. Broke another outer and locking hub (plus twisted a brand new rear driveshaft and peeled my frame side panhard mount and frame apart like a can opener.) Time for 35 spline.
And that axle held up for a LONG time under the Tacoma. I would probably still be running it if I wouldn't have killed my rear 3rd. Figured tons were calling my name.
Yep! I can't wait to get those chromo shafts in mine. Should be good to go for a while then...Its held up well since I've had it with stock shafts. This time it broke, is really the only time it's just failed to perform. First time I broke it was bc the steer limiting bolt was broke on the left side of the axle and I oversteered it which wrecked all 4 shafts and both u joints. And that was the night I got it home from going to Ohio to pick it up lol. So my stock **** lasted well for me...but these chromo shafts should end the problems. Then I can wait on my ring and pinion to take a dump next.
