I recently rebuild my entire front dana 60 axle and was wondering if anyone runs a bellow on the axle tube vent or do you run a hose up and out of harms reach away from water and debris. Would like to hear the pros and cons if anyone has experience with these...will they hold to much pressure in the housing and blow seals? this is on a crawler not a bouncer so i would think there wouldn't be a tremendous amount of pressure built up but i could be way off >>>thanks

I use a clutch master cylinder reservoir from a Ford Ranger. It has a 5/16 or so size hose that is used to connect it to the stock axle vent. Inside the reservoir is a rubber bellows that can expand or contract as the pressure builds. The cap has a small hole in it for a vent.
I will get pics in the am. I have run this setup for about 3 years on a HP 60 and 14 bolt with leaking from the seals.
