I have a Jeep Cherokee me and a buddy bought to do a motor swap and tranny swap on our two Jeeps. We decided we are not good enough mechanics to make it happen so we are going to sell it. The jeep is totaled so it is a parts rig only, unless you want one heck of a project. There is pretty much a dent in every panel but all the glass is good, the backseat is good but may or may not be in it when the buyer arrives (if you are buying it for the backseat, don't, you can probably buy one cheaper somewhere else), and the passenger seat is good. The driver seat is broken cause when it got hit, the fatty driving bounced forward and slung back and broke it. I think the wheels are good and none of the tires match but all hold air. The tailgate doesnt latch but who cares you cant drive it anywhere. Steering column and interior are shot as well. Now, if you are still reading here is what is good about it: 4.0 Liter motor and automatic transmission and transfer case all worked fine. Motor has 180K miles and transmission has around 40K and the transfer case has 180K as well. Truck was running fine and was well taken care of until it got rear ended and then it got parked in a barn out of the rain for about 6 or 8 months. Motor is complete except for airbox, and im not real sure why in the crap the airbox is missing but it is. We are trying to get $1,000 out of it but will probably take closer to $850 if you really want it. It doesn't run and is on my trailer now so If you want the trailer I will throw it in for a grand and you can have a full turnkey salvage set up! Before you bust my chops about it being overpriced or how stupid I am, I think it is a pretty fair deal. This ain't a joke, we are taking it to the scrapyard this weekend or early next week so I just threw this out there in case someone wanted to go into the salvage business. Does have a ***le but who really cares. If you are interested call me 731-780-7212.

A little more about the trailer: The boards are missing to lower the weight, but when you buy it I will throw some boards on there. Lights work and she pulls straight, I just need brakes thats all. Would be a really good Gayzer trailer, or even a lighter weight rig than mine (bout 4600lbs). I think you and two of your buddies could go to gayzer fest and haul all three on the 16' trailer if you put fenders. I left the fenders off because we ride at Hawk Pride and the trailer looks native to Alabama. :rolf:

WINCH STAYS WITH ME. SORRY.

I had nothing to do with the tiedowns and they broke pulling into my driveway. Never buy 4wheeler straps to hold a jeep!

Is the trailer frame bent? and how wide is the deck?

The trailer was bent when I bought it so we flipped it over and cut the axles and springs off and added 3" .25" square tubing and mounted the springs and axles back. The bend you see is not in the frame, it is the angle above the frame. I'm not sure exactly how wide it is, but my jeep is 85" wide and it fits fine. Trailer pulls straight and is solid, we have hauled a bunch of junk with it. It has a lump in one tire. I was going to put a new set on, but then all this came about. If you decide you want it I will put new tires on and add to the price of the trailer. I run 2 tire shops so I get tires at cost. I will show you the invoice so you know I ain't being shady. The only reason I'm selling it is I drive a company truck and company policy is that company trailers have to have brakes, well that extends to any trailer hauled by a company truck. Rather than raise cain about it I will just buy a trailer with brakes. No point in making a stink about hauling my personal jeep with a company truck and only paying the standard personal mileage rate.

Would like to trade for late model power stroke or Duramax with low miles and really nice wheels. No junk! Don't be afraid to make a trade offer, worst I can say is no. Mama said it has to go! Friday Bump!

yes but you clicked on it to see what it was :rolf:

Seriously though:
Motor, trans, wiring harness- $500
Transfer case and reared-$350
Rims-$67.50
Luggage rack-$32.50
Back seat-$$$
Not to mention the spare change in cup holders and ash tray. Plus the body lift I have for it. The jeep got bought with plans and plans changed, that sucks. We are taking it to scrapyard but I thought hey someone may want the good parts. I know nobody will give a grand for it.

The trailer is a different story, it's legit.

High five! Have a good day!
