to me a dual quad intake would be nicer, since its lower profile and gives you the option to run progressive linkage between the mixers. might allow you to not use as much fuel.
altfuel1991 said:We supplied the system in the photos for the Bronco. You could go to a dual quad manifold but you will only gain about 1-1/2" of additional clearance. With a single base plate it is much more effective cost wise. There is no need for another intake manifold, throttle body or linkage. Both mixers can fit under one 14" air filter assembly that we have available. A single Holley base plate will flow 900 cfm. Generally one mixer will become the primary one and handle most of the low rpm duties even though they are both the same. This way there is no chance of an uneven distribution and running some cylinders lean at low rpm.
