I am thinking about selling. I hope to use the motor until this winter so I wont be out of half the summer and fall without my jeep. It is in it so you can hear it run and feel how strong it is.

I bought the 401 3 years ago. It was out of a 78(i think) grand Waggoner. It has been rebuilt with:

Keith Black Hypereutectic Pistons- from Summit cost $463.99 http://www.summittruck.com/parts/UEM-KB392-STD/
RV cam and lifter kit $299.98(and that's an ebay cost) http://compare.ebay.com/like/170566842749?ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&rvr_id=170178318280&crlp=1_263602_304662&UA=%3F*I8&GUID=5524887512b0a043729449b4fffbc0b6&itemid=170566842749&ff4=263602_304662
Howell fuel injection $1400 http://www.howellefi.com/customer/tbi-kit-1972-93-304-360-401-v-8-jeep-amc-emissions-legal.html
High amp alternator $149.95 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MCI-N7294-9HO/
Aluminum valve covers $299.99 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/RGG-DMC-6920/?rtype=10
K&N filter $47.19 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/KNN-E-1650/3
York AC compressor works with my onboard air.
HEI ignition. $209.88 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PRO-67185/
I am keeping the power steering pump.
That is $2870 in parts alone. Not including the cost to buy the motor, machine it or build.

It runs great. it is still in the jeep so if you want to hear it you can.

I have had the automatic TF904 for about 5 years. I had it rebuilt at the time. It has :
Art Carr reverse manual valve body $225 (It only will shift when you want it to. Also first gear is next to neutral for fast shifting. http://www.artcarr.com/merchandise/details/21/425.acpp
Locar shifter $265.99 shifts well with no problems http://www.summitracing.com/parts/LOK-ATS6904BB/
Heavy duty rebuild cost me $1200.

I am not interested in trades. I don't want to split up the engine and transmission.

I need $2500 for engine tranny and all the accessories.

Thanks
