Dont know the problemm feels like a vacume line problem alost lost a nice puddle of tranny fluid out around the linkage! Any ideas 84 bronco 2 stock

The tranny fluid will likely be something unrelated to why it doesn't run or stop...
If the brake effort is difficult, with a high, hard pedal, AND it won't stay running---you have a vacuum leak somewhere...the trans leak could be the linkage seal, or the pan...it's hard to diag where a leak is over the net :;...

Did the brake pedal hiss when you applied it? Bad booster. If not, bad check valve/line/connection. It's carb'd so it won't tolerate a big vacuum leak.

The stock vent dumps around the linkage area... overfill it or overheat it perhaps? It's an 84 with the 2.8/C5 auto, right?

pinch, or remove and plug the vac line going to the booster.
then start it. does it stay running?

pull the bolts off the mc, and pull it forward, is it wet, has it been leaking?

You're probably gonna need to check all the vacuum hoses. Get ahold of a manual there's probably one on the web . That said ,if the booster is bad all the vacuum in the world won't help because it escapes internally .
