Chassis and Protodie aluminum radiator, shroud and fan setup are left. Prices are OBO plus actual shipping costs. Shipping is via UPS from my zip 30062 except for chassis which is freight and we will figure that out. It is cheaper to freight ship to a business address.

If you purchase the Chassis I will throw in the Protodie radiator, shroud and fan along with pick up $300 of the freight shipping to you or deliver it within 4 hrs from Marietta GA. For the west coast folks, my research shows $300 in freight to a business address or shipping depot will get it about 1/2 way to California. To a resident address it is much more though. For anyone closer than California it may just cover the full shipping expense depending on location.

Paypal is my payment method of choice however creditable board members and established businesses I will accept Money Orders also. If shipped, payment in full is expected before its shipped and if I deliver it a non refundable $300 deposit will be needed beforehand and cash on delivery is AOK. Once we agree on the details payment is expected within a few days.

For anyone thinking about modifying it for solid axle mid/rear engine buggy I will remove the IFS/IRS setup and reduce the price to $1200. Some work of course would be needed for a sub frame for UCA/LCA but it is doable.

This is a steal ya'll! thumb.gif

Re: Buggy for Sale

I've seen this thing in person and it is very high in quality, tightest looking notches i've ever seen, guessing they were lazer cut or something? If you've ever dreamed of builing your own utv or a mini baja style racer then this is it, won't ever find a better deal than this one. Bolt a busa engine in and peel the fawk out!

Re: Buggy for Sale

Thanks Neal! You're right about the notches. I believe Tut was doing this with his chassis builds. :dblthumb:

Re: Buggy for Sale

What would it take to make it 4x4? Buddy of mine is looking for a buggy just like this but wants 4x4. I think he is really interested.

Short Answer: Some designing, thinking through and the parts.

Long Answer: We were looking at using SxS parts to finish it off but you can use other powersports drive trains too. Obviously all the drive train would be needed. Technically snow mobiles use similar CVT setups to SxS and you can mate a Hayabusa or other motorcycle motor to a CVT too with the right clutch setup or via an RPM gear box. Current knuckles are not setup for shafts so those will need to be redone. Front diff placement and steering design will need to be thought out. Not sure what exactly it'll take there. You could use certain IFS/IRS car diffs but the problem you still run into with car diffs is the width of them which impedes proper shaft length based on CV angles and plunge. CV angles being a big one. As the diff width increases you decrease the shaft length thus higher angles on the CV's. Maximum angles on these EMPI Chromoly 930 CVs is 25 degrees and RCV makes CVs with 28 degrees. So point being is if your shafts are to short then most likely you will not obtain the full 18" of travel and would have to take this into the design considerations.

Let me know if you have further questions sir! :dblthumb:
