I have 3 Powerglides built for 4wd. All are Full Manual with 1.76 2nd. Closing in on 2k in parts in each of these transmissions...they're built to race...
1. Hughes Performance TH400 input shaft, Hughes shorty 27 spline output shaft for the Atlas adapter, Hughes full manual valve body, TCI full rebuild kit. This trans was run for the 2009 race season in a single seat buggy. It raced KOH, multiple XRRA's, RCQ, multiple other races. Never overheated and worked flawlessly behind 450hp LS1 all season. Only stopped using it because I built a 2 seater in 2010. $900
2. Hughes Performance TH400 input shaft, Hughes shorty 27 spline output shaft for the Atlas adapter, Hughes full manual valve body, Hughes full rebuild kit. This trans is brand new. Never run. It was built by the same guy that built trans #1. - $1300
3. Built by TSR Racing Transmissions, http://www.tsr-racing.com/. We got this trans as a last minute spare because trans #2 didn't get built in time for KOH 2009. It's brand new, never run. I don't know the exact specifics of the trans but it's supposed to be good to 700hp. It has TSR brand's TH400 input shaft, full rebuild kit, full manual valve body, Hughes Performance shorty 27 spline output shaft for the Atlas adapter, aluminum deep pan with cooling ribs. - $1300
-ArtCarr TH400 8" 'Rock Racing' torque converter. Was used in powerglide #1 in the 2009 season. Still worked flawlessly when removed. Never overheated. Stall was right on for 450hp and 3900lb rig. - $200
-Advance Adapters Powerglide to Atlas adapter with trans mount. Need new bolts probably. Currently bolted to #1. Add $100 if you want it with any of the other transmissions. - $200 separate
-Stock Advance Auto TH400 torque converter. New, never used - $100
-CSR Performance Super Shield flexplate/trans shield - used on #1 - $250
