Buying a vehicle site unseen

Does anyone have any experience buying a vehicle site unseen from someone 3000 miles away? This will be a cash private party deal and I am just curious how the money and ***le transfer was handled?

When I bought my dually in N.C. I met at a bank which I had an account at, Bank of America, and they helped with the transfer of ***le paperwork with notary. If it is going to be more than $5000 or more in cash the branch likes to know ahead of time to make sure they have the cash on hand.

Unless you're willing to gamble and lose that money, then you're far better off buying an airplane ticket and going and picking up / paying for it in person. Just add the cost of the ticket to the overall purchase price.
