We bought a new camper a few months ago and this thing hasn't moved since. I thought I would throw it out there and see I there is any interest.
I put this together in 2006. I bought the trailer new. It is a 34 foot, low deck, single tandem trailer. The camper is a 1997 Aerolite 21 foot fifth wheel. The camper is mounted rigid to the trailer where the axles are located and floats over the trailer until I get it set up and then I drop the jacks of the camper just like you would a regular camper. This allows the trailer to flex and not tear the camper apart.
The camper is in pretty good shape. It is a little tight but much bigger than a slide camper. Our intentions where to use it offroading and also on regular vacations where we carried our street jeep and rode it around at the destinations.
I have pulled it from Starkville, MS to Hot Springs, AR 6 to 8 times and to tellico once. It has been to grey rock several times. It pulls very well. With my 5000lb jeep, it weighed out around 13.5K
