can i tie my roll cage into the frame

I was woundering if i can tie the cage into the frame.i know the tub has rubber bushing between the frame and tub so they move separate. But i want to make the cage and jeep as strong as possible.this is on my 1991 yj.thanks

Some one told me that you dont want to because they move seperate.but i dont like the plate bolted to just the floor on the front bars that i added.A good roll and it could go threw the floor.so i want to plate the othe side and come off the frame.and tie into the frame on some more spots.i think it would be safer.i have seen some almost deadly roll overs here in Arizona makes me want to build it safer.
 
It's a wheeler....don't need no cushin-ing body mounts. But I would cut the tub and tie the cage directly into then frame.....typically the norm FYI.
 
Make brackets off the frame that will take a polly bushing and tube!! Then tie into those!!! Cage to frame-still can move some!!!

At the very least tie your seat and all seatbelts or harnesses into the roll cage.

In a bad roll if the body detaches from the frame you will be tied into the roll cage vice the normal seat mounts which are attached to the body. I have seen roll cages where the harnesses are tied into the cage and the seats are still attached to the body or vice versa. This is a recipe for disaster as your harnesses or seat belts can crush or kill you in a violent rollover if the body detaches from the frame.

On a jeep it isn't very hard to tie the roll cage into the frame.

Weld that **** directly to the frame, in as many spots as you can to make sure that cage doesn't move. Your just extending the frame to a chassis, making it sturdier, & more protection. SOLID!
Links are cool if you ever want to remove it, but otherwise, it's allowing flex.
Let the suspension flex, & the vibration mounts where they need to be. But the harder core you go, the more solid it should be.
Tube enough to protect your rig, passenger, & tie it all together.
