Can you put a 4.2 flywheel on a 4.0 ho engine?

im swappin to the 4.0, but the one im thinkin about gettin still has the torque converter on it. obviously this is a problem. thnanks for your help!!
 
If I had known you'd felt that way, I'd have said "yes" instead. It will just bolt right up. NO problem at all. Same exact flywheel and flexplate bolt pattern on the crankshaft. They also interchange with the AMC V8s too.

However, without the reluctor wheel, the Crank Position Sensor will have nothing to activiate and the H.O. fuel injection absolutely won't work.

So, YES it'll bolt up just fine.
But, NOPE, it'll never run.
