I blew my junk up and now time to pay for the party. I am looking for a fresh small block Chevrolet short block. Preferably bored and stroked out to maybe a 383 ci. Like to have good parts list, ARP, 4 bolt main, Eagle crank, Clevites, etc. Will trade for slightly used (ha ha) 355 ci block with rods playing around inside. Still got great oil pressure and did not overheat. Let me know what ya got thumb.gif

I still got the 350 motor I got from Joe H.. I gave him $800. Same to you if you can use it. It is a complete running motor. Check with Joe on the specs.

So have you figured out what exactly went wrong yet?

Yah, lead foot + slick rock and first one to get up tub tock that day= kaboom :driving: :****:

Reality says to much top end, and lower end not built good enough. I have been beating that motor badly for 4 years and have not built the lower end and something had to give. The video was not to the end of my run and there was still 2 more times on that run that put me up farther before I finally just said that I did not to hurt it any more than it was. Never got over 200 degrees and the oil pressure is still at 20+ psi at idle. Got to pay to party and now it is time to do it all from the start. thumb.gif

Thanks, I am going to try and short block it first, but if I decide to put a rotating assembly kit together instead, I will holla. thumb.gif
