Sold/Expired Chevy 5.3 150$ (new price)

150$ ...... 5.3 2000 silverado
Don't know whole story on this as I took it on some trading.
Guy said he drove it into shop and pulled it...said he thought it had bad head gaskets .
I have no idea. Motors in Sylvester,ga 229)881-9593
Will come with truck intake

It probably has cast tech heads... almost all 5.3s do.... They leak coolant and there is nothing you can do about it without replacing them. Almost all older 5.3s have them and people still pay good money for the motors, so $150 is a steal imo

You have to pull the valve covers to check, but pretty much all older 5.3s have them and they all will eventually fill the oil pan with coolant:

Well I got it for a song. It's just sitting on pallet an going to ruin...
I'd rather some body get it that can use it..... Guy said he drive it into shop when he pulled it.
Knowing the guy there is no telling what it was .

I'm not saying it isn't a deal, actually the opposite. Many people would spend $600 on a 5.3 that has these same heads and eventual problem. The way I see it, you are saving someone $450!
