Extinguish your ****ing butts! I was at elbe today and spent an hour putting out two seperate ground fires started by cigarettes! Pissed me off, wasted time out of my day and beer and water from my cooler because a group of white trash teeny boppers are dumb enough to throw lit cigs from their truck. Two beat ass toyotas and a old cj. Fires had spread to about 5' in diameter. Rant over:mad:

Seen the same thing up hunting one year. Stopped on a point to take a break. Smelled and saw a little smoke. Couple 20' away from me under a tree in the pine needles was a smoldering ring about 50' around. Cigarette butt in the middle by the base of the tree. Spent 30 mins kicking it all out. Lord knows how long it had been smoldering, the foot prints looked like they's been rained on the day before... I always ash in my truck when I'm having a cig while a wheel and throw the butts in an empty bottle or can and keep it in the truck with me for the next one... Crazy, a guy couldn't start a fire with a cigarette if he tried but just leave it and walk away and before you know it...

years ago when the OM was still running....we found a small fire started by a cigarette butt. We stomped it out but had it gone over night it would have gotten into plenty of dry slash and been bad. Yeah...people suck.

How about don't be a ****ing pig and throw butts on the ground at all? People work damn hard to preserve and improve Elbe, and it ain't so that dip****s can trash the joint.

Good job :awesomework: We had to do that on the Gotcha a few years back. Ended up hauling the water sacks in for the Fire crew to put it out. Could have been real bad.
