I decided to try to clock a 205 we are using for this jeep project. I didn't want to wait for a clicking ring to get here so I decided to do it myself. If I screw it up I can just weld the holes shut.
I took 8 bolts out on the input plate and removed it. At this point I cleaned the surface.
I the took my transfer punch and cut it down to 1-1/4". I set the input plate in the appropriate position and used the transfer punch and large punch to transfer the holes.
After that I just tapped the drilled and taped the holes and a little massaging with the tap.
