No, I was supporting the cause. I should have added; You can get a **** ton of power without blowing smoke like a locomotive.

It's HARD to make my truck smoke. Even when you are driving it like a pissed off teenager, it will only give you a little puff when doing a 4 wheel launch from a standstill. And I don't have an EGR or DPF.

Tom's truck with a very similar tune with smoke like a dump truck. :scratchhead:

I tuned the **** out of my truck, PPE Level 5, and at the very most I can get it to give a PUFF of black smoke. All the power without looking like an asshole is fantastic. Try it, you might like it.

I guess it would be harder to please the croud with beating the guy without the cloud. This truck kicks more power than any other that I know and he isn't smoking that bad after he is spooled up

The truck on the right is pushing 2400 horses out of a modified Cat C15. So the smoke is not simply crowd pleasing.

I can't imagine the size of drive lines they must be using. Especially with the amount of frame twist when they launch.

But running 4" exhaust with a 6" tip and a tune to produce a whopping 400 hp TTG smoken like a little *****, Well I would say you have a little **** and want to try and impress someone. Racing is racing and street driving is street driving. 2 different areas.

Bottom line black smoke is unburnt fuel / Unburnt fuel is not generating HP

Close... black smoke is PARTIALLY burned fuel, so it does generate SOME HP... just not all it could.

It's plenty enough for me to do 70 up the pass hauling two rigs. Set the cruise, crank up the AC and the truck isn't even breaking a sweat. I'm plenty happy with that. :awesomework:

It was me....I installed a black smoke fogger on my Tacoma's exhaust system so I can be cool and let everyone know I have huge :swing:
