Im simple, I like to keep it simple. I love the way my wrangler rides, but its about time for some new shocks on the front. Im running Rubicon Express 5.5" coil springs and some cheap shocks right now. Whats a good shock/coil spring setup to run? Looking at spending some more $ on some better shocks and just trying to get an idea of what I should take a look at.

Its a yellow one ton wrangler, 4.0, 39.5 Iroks if it matters...

I'd say get some 2.0 remote resi shocks and try your hand at tuning (or getting them tuned).

If you want to spend a little more money get something like a ProComp MX6 remote resi or FOX 2.0 remote resi with the "Clickers". They have the knobs (clickers) to tune them right on the shock, no tear down necessary.

Looking at running some bilstein's... either the 7100's or the 5165's. Whats a good valving combo to run on these? I mainly ride trails and creek beds, so I was thinking somewhere in the middle of the valving options they offer. I know nothing about shocks, this is the first time in my life I actually plan on spending more that $30 a shock lol.

And if it matters, should have my hands on some 40" Comp Treps and Trail Ready locks by the end of next week... Didnt know if bumping up to a little heavier tire would have much affect of the valving...
