Sold/Expired Converting a DRZ400E to an S?

I gotta DRZ400E i been debating on puttin a dual sport kit on for a while now. I would like to have it to be able ride around on the road. Who sells the best DS kit to do this? I know Baja Designs sells one, is there any others? And is it a ***** to get it tagged through AL DMV? Thanks for any advice!

There is no way to get it tagged in Alabama if the ***le sais "Offroad Use Only".
I tried for 3 months everyday to get my XR tagged. Tried pulling every string I had. My cousin works at the DMV department in our county and so does one of my students mom. They tried everything to get it done legal.

The only way I figured to do it and leave it in your name is sale it to someone out of state that can tag it, like Kansas. Let them tag it. Sale it back to you then you can tag it.

You can send a request in for ***le, but it was gona be almost $500 for that and they said I was not promised I would get a ***le. If they deny you you loose the money.


The way I got around all this was I have a friend with a used car business. I rock out with a used car dealer tag. If i get pulled over im just test riding and thinking about buying.
