couple questions

1. will 73 - 87 chevy 1/2 ton front calipers bolt onto an 3/4 ton 8-lug chevy dana 44 front, since disk brake conversions on 14 bolts can either use 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton calipers with 3/4 ton rotors?

2. did 73 - 87 chevys ever come with stock adapters to bolt a 32 spline sm465 to a 32 spline np205? (i have a 32 spline sm465 bolted to a np 208 and a 32 spline 205 that came behind a th400)

yes on the calipers..3/4 calipers have bigger pistons than 1/2 tons but they still bolt on.... and i think the shaft length is the difference but cant remember for sure... check here for that info...

thanks for the feedback. ive searched all of offroad design and it doesnt give me the answer? the reason i want to run 1/2ton calipers is so i dont have to grind them down to keep my 15 in wheels. if ill still have to, ill just go with the 3/4 ton ...
