This Malibu has the most leg room of any car I've had before, with the seat all the way back and the open room that is behind all the stuff under the dash for my foot to go with plenty clearance, I can almost straighten my leg all the way straight while driving (not in relaxed position, just saying I can do it to provide aspect on how much leg room is there). The Malibu appears to be a much longer car than the Cruze. The Malibu's trunk space is crazy big for a car that size (to me), and the passengers in the back seat has plenty leg room even with my seat nearly all the way back to where I am comfortable too. Like I said, my only gripe with the Malibu is fuel economy. It stays on 23.7ish in my normal driving range. Cruising 40 mph on a back road, instant fuel economy will be in the mid 50's, but any type of acceleration flat out kills it, even the slightest hills. It got something like 27.1 last time we made the 9 hour round trip drive to the casino in Philadelphia, MS. But that is half interstate and half 60mph long straight back roads. All easy driving, minimal stop and go. I wish is never got below 30 avg mpg, I'd be happy with it.

[QUOTE="TacomaJD, post: 687475, member: 1780"] What kind of leg room is in the Cruze? Not the newest ones, the '11, '12, '13, etc. I am 6'1" and with the ole fake leg, I can't manipulate my foot, it is always pointing out/up, so sometimes leg room is cramped depending on how far the seat goes back and how the **** under the dash is made.
