d60 front srw hubs: chevy vs. ford

I've Googled all word combos I can think of with no success. How can you visually tell a Ford hub vs a Chevy?

Basically if you ran across a set of hubs in a garage and had no spindle to try them on...how can you tell them apart?

The ford ones will be shorter I would think since the stub shafts are shorter?

Between my tow rig, buggy, and friend's build I've only really been exposed to the Ford 60s. I like this question though. Always looking to learn 8)

like I am right. I've just got two front rear steer rigs and a few sets of rocks don't make me a high roller

Thanks man....jus tryin to ditch my external hubs. Bolts keep loosening up and they protrude a lil much with the wheels.

I figured that was going to happen. They work ok but I never thought the external hub like that was a good idea but it's DODGE **** and I like Chevys better than those anyday of the week. post up some pics of the ride I missed dammit lol
