Sold/Expired Dana 60 set up bearings?

Anyone got a pair of setup bearings for a dana 60 (rear) that they want to loan or sell on the cheap?

buy new bearings and hone the inside a little so they will slide on and off. Autozone or ORiellys should have some cheap ones.

I built 3 Dana 80s back in 2001 with setup bearings. Still on the road and farm today.

Don't be afraid to run em. If you set em up with proper preload, they'll never spin on the carrier

The times I tried using "setup bearings" I still had to readjust with the real bearings.

I just bought a Yukon bearing puller, and use the bearings going in from the start.

There are 2 different Dana 60 carrier bearings. If you go buy a new set make sure the set you make setup bearings out of is the same that your install kit has.
