That one lake/cabin picture is amazing. It would seem it has some kind of heat source? it doesnt have any ice and is super green. Like it's fed by a heated underwater spring !!!

That is a natural spring called Big Springs. It's not heated, but it comes out of the ground at a temperature and in such volume that it does not freeze. It lets out 120,000,000 gallons per day, forming the headwaters of Henry's Fork of the Snake River. There is also a bridge over the river and you can see large trout that live in the river year round.

We went to West Yellowstone for a few days before the week of Christmas.

One of our best family vacations ever. I am already thinking about going back.
